Vintage Friday

I found this vintage pattern at the thrift store last week. I paid twice the original price...$.50. I love these books but they are getting harder to find in my area. I am looking for finger wt. yarn to crochet the bed jacket seen on the cover. I have wanted to make one for years. I would also like to knit the headband the little girl is wearing in the second picture. The pattern seems fairly easy. I might even attempt the hat the little boy is wearing. Both are very cute.

Becca,
I LOVE these pictures. I have a real affection for/obsession with crocheted items like these. I actually have just learned to crochet just so I can make potholders and doilies! Also, I wanted to tell you I was just thinking of you. I have been dealing with this dumb cold which turned into a sinus/ear infection, as always. I just felt chilled and awful so I took a bubble bath a little while ago, and put on my playlist and turned it up so I could hear it in the bathtub. It was wonderful. And you were the inspiration, commenting on the music on my playlist. Thank you, and I'll visit you again very soon! I will be getting together the first project for my blog soon, so check back now and then. Have a great and blessed weekend!

P.S. I also LOVE country fairs!
