This is my most recent finish. It went pretty fast and turned out great. The book came with a thread pack and the mother of pearl buttons. I found the perfect hand-dyed fabric two weeks ago and started it right away. I enjoy doing different stitches and using beads and buttons on my stitching. I will pick out a frame later, and do it myself.

Vintage Friday

I finished the border on this towel this morning. It is one of a pair to unfinished linen towels I found last year. The first one can be found here.

I wasn't sure what colors to use so I decided to just embroider in black DMC. It goes well in my primitive kitchen.
